Covid-19 Update

18th March 2020

We wanted to give you an update as to how your food bank is going to be operating in relation to COVID-19. The Trussell Trust are continually monitoring the situation and updating us as necessary. We will be following recommendations regarding hygiene measures and we would kindly ask that you follow instructions given to you by our volunteers whilst you collect your food parcels.

We will continue to open on a Friday between 10-2pm, we will be closing at 2pm and kindly ask anyone with a voucher to have collected their parcel by 2pm. Ideally we ask anyone with a voucher to be with us by 1.30pm to allow time for the packing of your food.

If you are unable to obtain a paper voucher due to closure of the referring agency please contact them by telephone and they shall send your details directly to us. All referring agencies are aware of how we will be operating during this time.

We will be unable to offer any refreshments during this period unfortunately.

Where possible if one person per voucher could collect your parcel we would be very grateful in order to minimise contact.

We respectfully ask anyone showing signs of COVID-19 or if you have had close contact with anyone who has shown signs not to visit. A representative/friend/family member can collect your food parcel on your behalf. Unfortunately we are unable to offer delivery.

We have everybody’s best interest at heart and during this time of uncertainty we hope we can offer some reassurance that we will continue to open each week.
