VOLUNTEERS NEEDED -CAN YOU HELP?
Tavistock Foodbank is looking for volunteers to join our Pitts Cleave warehouse team.
We need a coordinator to oversee the collection, storage and distribution of food supplies . Are you a team worker with good communication, organisational and planning skills who could coordinate a small team of friendly volunteers.? If so please contact us about this rewarding role. There will be full opportunity to work alongside the current coordinator to enable you to take on the role.
We are also looking for an additional volunteer to join the existing team in the collection of donations, stock keeping and transfer of goods between Foodbank sites.. Hours can be flexible but ability to work on either Wed/Fri/Sat is useful. Please note that some lifting is required.

There are lots of other ways you can also support us too including spreading awareness by sharing our social media posts or maybe organising a collection of food at your workplace. We do sometimes have ad-hoc requirements for volunteer help which we advertise via our Facebook page so also worth keeping an eye on that.
